About me

Hi there! I'm Paula-Beth, a qualified, insured teacher with a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various dance styles in the UK and abroad.

As a child and teenager, I won quite a few Freestyle Disco Dancing competitions! I proudly displayed my cups and trophies in my bedroom. From age 8 -12 I took all my medals in Ballroom and Latin.

On leaving school, I completed a Theatre and Performing Arts Course at Liverpool Theatre School. I went on to work as a professional dancer and became a Full Equity member. Throughout my twenties, I worked on long dance contracts in large, glittering theatre shows in the UK, Japan, Spain and Morocco.

Including

Butlins Gaiety Theatre, Skegness,

Bridlington Leisure World theatre show,

Gran Palace Lloret, Lloret de Mar,

Scala Theatre Barcelona,

Scala Theatre Madrid,

Juraku World Show Minakami, Japan,

Juraku World Show, Iizaka, Japan,

HCI Theatre Show, M'Diq, Morocco, and many more!

In my thirties I went back to Ballroom, Latin and Salsa and took my medals again, this time as an adult. This is also when I did my teacher training. I also completed a Zumba training course, just for fun! I then concentrated more on the choreography side of dance and formed my own award winning dance troupe.

I now teach classes and private lessons in beautiful North Wales.

I still have that passion (and patience!) for dancing and I like nothing better than

helping others discover their inner dancer.

When you decide to join us at Paula-Beth School of Dance, you will be able to take advantage of my wealth of dance experience at our fully-equipped state-of-the-art studios in Llandudno and Colwyn Bay. Whether you’re an adult beginner looking to learn to dance, or an experienced dancer wanting to learn something new, or a school hoping to get the children more active via dancing, I'm sure I can help you.

I am a  patient teacher who strives to make every class fun, enjoyable and achievable for every dancer.
