Terms and Conditions for Paula-Beth School of Dance

GENERAL

By attending any class, private lesson, workshop, or event run by Paula-Beth School of Dance, or by purchasing gift vouchers from Paula Beth School of Dance, you agree to our terms and conditions.
Dancing is a physical activity and can result in injury. Students taking part in classes, private lessons, workshops, or events run by Paula-Beth School of Dance, do so at their own risk. If in doubt, please refer to your GP before starting any physical activity. By taking part in our classes, private lessons or events, you warrant that you are fit and able to do so.
Paula-Beth School of Dance is not responsible for personal injury or loss of your personal possessions and belongings whilst at any of our dance classes, private lessons, or events.
All our classes, private lessons, workshops, and events are open to all.
Dance courses can be booked as either a 4 or an 8 week block.
Certain courses may last up to 12 weeks, depending on complexity of the dances being taught.
Classes are 60 minutes duration per class.
One-off drop-ins are not accepted.
New starters are entitled to one Trial Class (payable).
We do not allow spectators at classes, workshops, or private lessons.
Dancing is about commitment. Our commitment to you is to turn up every week and teach you to dance. Your commitment to us is to also turn up every week and learn to dance.
Video recording of us teaching or dancing during class is not permitted.
We may from time to time, at our discretion, and with student's permission, video or photograph parts of the class or event. These will only be used to promote classes or events organised by Paula-Beth School of Dance.
When you attend any classes, private lessons or events run by Paula-Beth School of Dance, you can expect us as teacher and dance assistant to be courteous and respectful towards you. We expect you to be the same towards us.
Anyone found to be handing out materials promoting classes or other businesses, other than our own, will be asked to leave.
Car parking at or near our venues is at your own risk.

CANCELLATIONS

If Paula-Beth School of Dance has to cancel a class or private lesson they will add the class onto the end of your course. Your private lesson will be re-arranged with you.
If you cancel or do not attend your class, private lesson, workshop, or event booking, you will forfeit your payment.
No refunds or credit will be given for missed classes, private lessons, gift vouchers, or non-attendance at events.
If Paula-Beth School of Dance cancels a complete course for any reason, before the course commences, you will be given a full refund.

REFUND POLICY

Course fees are non refundable and non transferable.
Please note: Holidays and sickness absences have already been factored into the cost of your course.
No refunds will be given on dance courses, private lessons, Wedding Dance courses, Gift Vouchers or events. If you do not turn up or cancel a class or lesson, or do not attend an event you have paid for, or fail to use a gift voucher within the allotted time frame, for any reason, you will forfeit your payment for that course, class, private lesson, gift voucher, or event.
If Paula-Beth School of Dance has to cancel a class (as part of a course), they will add that class on to the end of your course.
If Paula-Beth School of Dance has to cancel a private lesson, they will re-arrange with you a new date and time.
If Paula-Beth School of Dance has to cancel a complete course, before the course starts, you will be given a full refund.
If Paula-Beth School of Dance cancels an event other than classes or private lessons or Wedding Dance courses, they will offer a full refund.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are bookable and payable in advance only.
The content of a private lesson will be discussed with you beforehand.
Private lessons 60 minutes duration.
If we are teaching you a Bespoke Wedding Dance or Special Occasion Dance we will choreograph a new routine and / or new moves especially for you.
If you cancel or change your booking you will forfeit the fee paid for that lesson.
If Paula-Beth School of Dance has to cancel or change the booking for your private lesson, they will reschedule with you and you will not lose any payment.
A pre-paid private lesson with us must be taken within 6 months of purchase.

GIFT VOUCHERS

1. Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

2. They must be used within this time frame, as we do not allow time extensions after your Gift Voucher has expired.

3. Gift vouchers can be used towards courses, private lessons, and workshops.

4. Gift Vouchers are non-refundable or transferable.

TEN CLASS DANCE PASS

1. This pre-paid dance pass is valid for 12 weeks from date of purchase.

2. It can be used at any of our dance classes, but not workshops or events.
